ABOUT
“My objective of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality I want to live within.”
— GRACE BROWSE
My name is Grace Browse, and I am a recent graduate from Tulane University. I majored in Studio Art Major and received three minors in Graphic Design, Business, and Childhood Education. I am from Hewlett, NY and was lucky enough to live in New Orleans, LA the past four years. I am persistently passionate about my own process of self-expression through fine art as well as art- education for all students. In addition, I am a successful graphic designer; I create digital work for branding and advertising purposes. Overall, I pride myself on living life with enthusiasm and empathy.
ME
In this complex, uncontrollable world, I find it comforting to make art that tells a narrative I have experienced, believe in, or am an advocate for. On the other hand, I also enjoy producing work that sparks conversations about the current realities that must be improved or stopped altogether. My work is intended for all audiences to view as the use of portraiture, abstraction, and symbolism promotes societal growth for every individual.
